New Delhi, Jan 19: Looks like all is not well in Aam Aadmi Party which is already facing tough time in Delhi polls after its rival BJP poached some of their former associates.
At a time when party should concentrate on making strategies about how to beat the Saffron party, the fledgling party reportedly is facing dissent within its own ranks.
According to report, AAP leader Ashutosh was heckled by his own party workers when he was addressing a gathering in Rohini area of the national capital. It is being said that whole drama was orchestrated by former MLA of party Rajesh Garg who had came there with large number of his students supporters.
Already peeved with AAP's hypocrisy on number of issues, disgruntled Rajesh Garg wanted Ashutosh to answer all the queries of the gathered students. Garg dared him to leave the stage before addressing problems of the gathered crowd.
"Where is your swaraj now? Unless we get an answer to these questions, we won't let you go. We don't care even if it leads to a massacre", miffed Garg said.
Reportedly, Garg's supporters took Ashutosh hostage for about half an hour and ultimately the journalist turned leader had to escape by jumping the wall.
Sources say that Rajesh Garg was unhappy with party as he was denied ticket for the Delhi Assembly election. Instead of him, party gave the ticket to CL Gupta.
Earlier, at a rally in Sultanpur Majra Assembly constituency, an unidentified miscreant threw eggs and a stone at AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal.
