Delhi Metro
New Delhi, June 27: Delhi Metro commuters Friday faced a tough time when four stations were shut down for nearly two hours due to a protest by UPSC aspirants against changes made in the civil services examination pattern.

The four stations were Patel Chowk, Central Secretariat, Race Course and Udyog Bhavan. All the stations were on the Delhi Metro's yellow line.

"As advised by Delhi Police, four metro stations were closed for the public from 11.18 a.m. till 1.12 p.m. (Friday)," a Delhi Metro official said. "However, interchange facilities were available at the Central Secretariat station."

Close to 1,000 civil service aspirants marched from Civil Lines area in north Delhi to Rajghat protesting against changes made by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and demanded that the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) pattern in the examination be scrapped.

The CSAT is a compulsory part of the civil services examination that acts as a screening test before the civil services main examination.
