Marriage: Cricketer Suresh Raina weds Priyanka Chaudhary, reveals secrets

New Delhi, April 3: Hours before his marriage, finally a few secrets about Suresh Raina and Priyanka Chaudhary have been revealed. The young cricketer claimed that he was not in touch with Priyanka for years.

Didn't meet Priyanka for many years:

During an interview with a newspaper, Raina was quoted as saying, "I have known Priyanka for long, but in the middle, I didn't have time to be in touch with her."

"I remember meeting her at the airport for five minutes in 2008. She was flying back to Holland (where she currently works) and I was going to Bangalore for an IPL game, and we met at the Delhi airport for just five minutes." [Pics: Cricketer Suresh Raina's bachelor party, marriage in Delhi]

"I first met her when were school kids. Priyanka's father was my sports teacher in Ghaziabad and my mom was very close to her mother," he added.

It's an arranged marriage:

Finally, the cricketer revealed that they will go to Milan, Italy for honeymoon. He was quoted as saying, "I want her to focus on her career. We won't get much time together, so I will be going to Holland later."

Honeymoon plans:

"For the honeymoon, we are planning to go to Milan after the IPL," said Raina while revealing their plan for honeymoon.

Raina plays for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in IPL which will begin on April 8. The final IPL match will be held on May 24.

Priyanka, who works with a bank in Nethelands, reportedly will not be with Raina when the cricketer will be busy in playing IPL.

Though Raina was reluctant to say anything about his bride, he finally said, "She loves me for what I am and not because I am a cricketer. She is a very nice girl and I love her."
