Daldani, whose tweet came into limelight after being re-tweeted by Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, on Tuesday, Jan 28 dared the world. He said that despite several threats and warnings, he will continue to say what he believes and feels.
You can threaten me all you like, and scream. I will follow what I feel
Daldani's new tweet says, "Here's the bad news, trolls. You can threaten me all you like, and scream and shout yourselves hoarse. I will still say what I feel. Simple."
Daldani is known as a hardcore supporter and follower of Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Following an interview of Rahul Gandhi on Monday, he tweeted, "Stuck between a moron and a murderer....what now, India!?"
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet blockquote" lang="en"><p>Actually, I'm not asking for either your votes or your agreement. I'm just a musician and a citizen. You have your opinion, as i have mine.</p>— VISHAL DADLANI (@VishalDadlani) <a href="https://twitter.com/VishalDadlani/statuses/427864560482013184">January 27, 2014</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Soon after his tweet, Daldani's comment on Twitter created a new political debate as it was re-tweeted by Kejriwal. While many called Daldani "ill-informed", other said it was a publicity stunt by the musician.
Daldani's another recent tweet says, "Also note, I didn't mention an option 3. You chose it on your own, for good or bad. Sign of the times? Big parties are clearly rattled."
