Congress's advice to AAP: Withdraw from Delhi polls if you feel EVMs are tampered
New Delhi, Feb 4: Congress today made light of Arvind Kejriwal's charge of "tampering" of certain EVMs in Delhi to benefit BJP while telling AAP to withdraw from the February 7 Assembly polls if the party has genuine doubts.
"He (Kejriwal) is alleging that if any button is being pressed then the light lits against BJP's symbol. If there is a truth in what he is telling, he should boycott the polls."
Chacko, who is also in-charge of party affairs in Delhi, said that otherwise it would meant that Kejriwal is making allegations just to malign someone else.
The Election Commission today dismissed apprehensions expressed by Kejriwal that certain electronic voting machines (EVMs) have been "tampered" with to favour BJP in the February 7 Delhi Assembly polls.
