Condom and Rape Controversy: Porn star Sunny Leone breaks silence, gets support from Shilpa Shetty

Mumbai, Sept 4: A day after Communist Party of India (CPI) leader Atul Kumar Anjan's shocking comment on Sunny Leone and her condom ad, the porn star now broke her silence.

Sunny Leone, who has made a prominent place for herself in Bollywood, lashed out at Anjan.

Writing on micro-blogging site Twitter, Leone on tweeted, "Sad when people of of power waste their time and energy on me, instead of focusing on helping those in need !!!!!"

Meanwhile, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty too slammed the politicians who criticised Leone. Speaking at the Indian Merchant Chamber's Ladies Wing Exhibition 2015, Shilpa said, "It`s just some of the fringe who thinks like that."

"I don`t think everybody thinks like that, it's very silly. These things happen everywhere. There are controversies everywhere and this is a really silly thing that you`re giving too much attention to," she added.

Continuing her statement, Shilpa also added, "I just think that all five fingers can't be like each other. You got to have all kinds that make the world. Just concentrate on the positives."

Creating the controversy, Atul Kumar Anjan recently claimed that Sunny's condom advertisement will trigger the tendency among men to commit rapes and that it was developing sexuality and ruining sensibilities.
