New Delhi, Feb 18: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's ambitious Janta Darbar is back.
According to news reports, the Delhi CM will meet the public at his AAP's Kaushambi office three days a week. Reports said Janata Darbar will be held every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
The first Janta Darbar of Kejriwal government was held on January 11, 2014. But, that time it turned out to be a flop show as hundreds had turned up at Delhi Secretariat to get a glimpse of Kejriwal, creating a huge chaos. The security personnel had to take Kejriwal away from the sprawling complex in central Delhi.
Kejriwal had promised better arrangements next time.
"Go back home now. Give us some time to streamline the system. We will address all your grievances. We will make better arrangements next time," Arvind Kejriwal, who stood on the boundary wall of the Secretariat, had said the crowd after making a second entry into the venue.
Now, the Arvind Kejriwal has begun his second stint as chief minister with an unprecedented majority in the Delhi Assembly polls, the party has again announced its plans to hold the Janta Darbar.
