Chief Election Commissioner happy with the ballot process

New Delhi, Dec 8: In a recent interview, the Chief Election Commissioner of India-V. S Sampath-said that he is happy with the ballot process. He said that both the central and the state governance were very co-operative and did exactly what we said.

"If you remember, we had planned various directives and instructions for each and every party. We are glad to announce that everyone followed it to the hilt," he said.

If any clarification was required, they never hesitated to contact us in writing for verification. And if there is something we did not approve of, they never did. On an overall, the election process was very peaceful without any untoward situation. "Let us hope that the counting is also peaceful," he further added.

Election results for four states of Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh would be out today, while Mizoram will have the results tomorrow.
