Chhota Rajan who was arrested in Idonesia's Bali on October 26 was given consular access on Monday.
According to sources, "He will be brought to India if he doesn't object to his deportation in the Indonesian court. But we don't think he will do it".
An Indian team consisting of CBI officials and Mumbai police reached Bali to arrange the deportation of Chhota Rajan.
Rajan, wanted in over 70 cases of murder, extortion and drug trafficking in Mumbai, was arrested by the Indonesian police at the Bali airport after being tipped off by the Australian authorities. Rajan was staying in Australia for the last few years. He was carrying an Indian passport in the name of Mohan Kumar.
A Red Corner notice was issued by Interpol against him in 1995.
According to Indian intelligence agencies, following Rajan's arrest, Pakistan has beefed up the security of Dawood Ibrahim, the prime accused in the 1993 Bombay serial blasts.
