Call centre employee commits suicide as he was ugly
In fact, this was pre-planned, if we go by the suicide note he had left behind. 6 months ago, he had planned that he would commit suicide on February 2, 2014 and to the utter dismay of his family members, he was true to his words. He was found hanging from the ceiling of his rented house in Sector 10, Vasundhara on Sunday.
Investigating officer Subhash Atri said that Jeevan Sarkar had left behind two suicide notes-one in English and the other one in Bengali. In the one written in Bengali, Sarkar said he was very upset because of his "bad-looking personality" and that he was a misfit in society and among his friends.
Quoting the note, the police said,"He didn't have hair on the head. He had a small height. Besides, he didn't have a good face."
However, in the English note, he said that no one is responsible for his death. Before ending his life, he messaged his elder brother in the wee hours of Sunday, informing him about the suicide and that his body be discovered by the landlord. Receiving the message, his brother called up Jeevan's friend from West Bengal who was living with him previously to check on him.
"When he reached Sarkar's room in the morning, he saw him hanging from the ceiling fan and later informed police," Atri said.
Police has sent the body for post-mortem while waiting for his parents to arrive. Jeevan was staying in Noida for over an year.
