Breathtaking Pic: NASA astronaut from space sends image of cyclone storm over Mumbai
Mumbai, June 9: Normal life Mumbai is likely to be disrupted as the deep depression in the Arabian Sea has intensified into cyclonic storm "Ashobaa".
Now, Ashobaa is expected to further develop into a "super cyclonic storm" by Wednesday, June 10, informed the weather office on Monday, June 8.

Not only in Mumbai and other parts of Maharashtra, but Cyclone Ashobaa may encourage rainfall at most places over coastal Karnataka, Konkan and Goa as well as south Gujarat with isolated heavy falls.

Meanwhile, NASA astronaut Terry W Virts posted a breathtaking image of the cyclone storm over Mumbai. He has also posted a video of the cyclone storm which is churning West of India to the Himalayas.

Sea condition would be very rough to high along and off Karnataka, Goa and Maharashtra coasts, MeT Department on Tuesday morning.
Meanwhile, weather department in Gujarat has issued a warning to fishermen along the coast following the storm. Signal number 2 has been hoisted at all ports of Gujarat as a precautionary measure.
