Preity Zinta snubs AAP, supports Modi
Varanasi, May 2: Bollywood actress Preity Zinta's recent remark on Narendra Modi seems to have worked as icing on the cake for the prime ministerial candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ahead of the crucial election fight in Varanasi.

The actress, who visited Varanasi, said she prefers Modi than AAP. Speaking to media persons, Priety Zinta said, "I am his (Modi) fan, hope he wins, he doesn't need campaigning, have just come to pray to God."

She also added, "Said 7 years back that Modi should be PM, people love him. Yes, I like AAP but they need time. Important they win seats."

Meanwhile, she took to micro-blogging site Twitter to clarify her stand about supporting Modi or any other political party. Tweeting from her Twitter profile, Zinta wrote, "I don't campaign for any political party. Have not done it in the past nor will do it in the future. Hope its clear to everyone once & 4all."

The election in Varanasi will be held on May 12 when Narendra Modi, AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal and Congress leader Ajay Rai will be contesting.
