Twist in Molestation Case: Real reason behind Preity Zinta, Ness Wadia fight revealed

Bangalore, June 17: Days after her complaint to Mumbai Police against her former love interest Ness Wadia, it has been revealed that why Bollywood actress Preity Zinta had fought with the business tycoon who is also her business partner and co-owner of her IPL team -- Kings XI Punjab.

The real reasons behind Preity-Ness controversy have been revealed just a day after the biggest twist in the case when Preity's lawyer refuted to accept initial media reports claiming it was not a molestation or sexual assault case, rather the case was filed under Sec 354 for outraging modesty of a woman.

Now, one leading newspaper claimed that the infamous fight between Preity and Ness had started when the latter asked the former to vacate the front row seat for his family during a match between Punjab and Chennai on May 30. However, the actress refused to vacate the seats which she was sharing with her friends and one of her team players' family members.

The media report claimed that Ness along with family members had reached the stadium little late and had approached to Kings XI Chief Operating Officer (COO) Fraser Castellino to vacate the seats for his family. Castellino then requested Preity Zinta, but she reportedly refused.

According to the report, Ness and Preity lost their cool and exchanged insults while leaving the Stadium. A tearful Preity reportedly informed IPL chairman Ranjib Biswal about the mess inside the stadium. However, she did not file any official complaint against Ness with BCCI. The matter was then communicated to Sundar Raman, IPL COO, informed the reports.

Later, the Bollywood actress filed the case against Ness and the cops asked her to record her statement within one week. According to sources, two Mumbai-based businessman, whose names were mentioned by the actress as witnesses, might be questioned on Wednesday, June 17.

One senior police official was quoted as saying, "We want Preity Zinta to provide us better details of the incident by the end of the week. At the moment, she is in Los Angeles and we do not know when she will return to India."

Continuing his statement, he also added, "We have seen a portion in the footage where the two are seen speaking with each other. But we would not know if they are having a heated argument."
