New Delhi, June 9: The special joint session of three units of Municipal Corporation Delhi (MCD) on Thursday, June 9 witnessed uproarious scenes at Ramleela ground in Delhi.
One of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) ward councilor was caught on camera slapping Aam Admi Party (AAP) councillor following after a heated argument between them.
Slapped for AAP party 'cap'
Reportedly, some of the councilors objected AAP councillor Rakesh Kumar, who was seen wearing party's cap at the place. Kumar was even asked to remove his cap. Soon, a scuffle broke out between AAP leader and other councilors.
As per media reports, BJP councillor Neeraj Guptaeven slapped Rakesh Kumar. Whole incident was captured in the camera.
Reacting over the incident, Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal said " BJP party is party of gundas and twitted while saying that BJP is anti Dalit party.
"Utterly shameful. BJP is a party of gundas. Rakesh is dalit. BJP is assaulting Dalits all over India in a systematic way," Kejriwal said.
