BJP, Congress or AAP whom will Muslims choose in Delhi polls?

New Delhi, Nov 6: In the upcoming assembly elections in Delhi, it is expected that Muslims will support Narendra Modi-led BJP due to Modi wave. In the past, Muslims have been supporting the Congress, but with the Modi wave all around in the country, it seems that this time they will go with BJP.

Chandni Chowk, Matiya Mahal, Ballimaran, Vikaspuri, Mutafabad, Gandhi Nagar, Seemapuri and Babarpur are the seats in Delhi where nearly 61 per cent of Muslim population lives.

On these also have nearly 13 to 30 per cent of Dalit population. Out of these seats, maximum seats are in Congress's hand. While only two seats, namely, Kiradi and Babarpur are with the BJP.

As per sources, Muslims are annoyed with the Congress and they feel that Muslims have always been betrayed.

As per the current situation, Muslims can affect the results of 17 assembly constituencies as in these areas 15 to 61 per cent voters are Muslims. In Delhi, Muslims have been in full support of Congress in the past, but this time it seems that BJP is putting all it's efforts to bring these voters to its side.

A teacher from Anglo Arabic school says that Congress, SP and BSP have betrayed Muslims, thus, this time they may go with the BJP.

In Shahdara, Sangam Vihar, Badarpur, Trilokpuri, Sadar Bazaar, Karawal Nagar, Ghonda and Gokulpur are the constituencies where nearly 20 per cent Muslim population lives. Dalits comprise nearly 14 to 30 per cent population. From these eight constituencies, only Karawal Nagar and Ghonda are with the BJP.

As per experts, Assembly election in Delhi are being fought in the name of development and people are liking the Gujarat Model. Thus, this time it seems that not only Muslims, even others will vote for BJP due to Modi wave.
