The Even the doctors who are treating her are shocked to see such a case. Surprisingly, she does not feel any pain. The doctors are, however, confused and say that they could not find the queen ant, who may have laid tha eggs, through laparascopic camera.
Shreya Darji, 12, had first complained of ear irritation in August last year. When her father saw ants inside her ear, he took her to the ENT specialist who removed 9-10 ants from her ear. After about two weeks, she complained again and that is when the father took her to the best ENT in town. Dr Jawahar Talsania said,"The girl's case is very challenging for me, as I have never seen such a case, nor found it in medical history. The big ants must be biting her, but the girl did not event feel pain inside her ears. Besides, there was no damage inside her ear."
He further added,"She came to me yesterday, when I extracted around 10 big ants from ear."
Doctors say that if ants continue to come out of her ear, they will have to keep her under video observation, which could probably solve the mystery.
Her parents have tried everything they could. Darji said,"It is not even the case that some big ants entered her ears by chance. It could not happen every day." He further informed that there was no such family history.
