Bihar toppers' scam: Former JD(U) MLA Usha Sinha's degrees fake too?
Patna, June 13: At a time when 'toppers' of Bihar Board are in the dock, another shocking revelation has come to light.
According to a India Today report, degrees of former JDU MLA, Usha Sinha are also fake. Sinha is the wife of former Chairman of Bihar School Examination Board, Lalkeshwar Prasad.
Report says that as per the affidavit filed during 2010 Assembly election, Sinha had declared that she passed her matriculation exam at the age of 8. According to information in the affidavit, she was 49 years old in 2010.
Most shocking thing is, Sinha declared that she cleared her Masters degree from Awadh University in 1976. But this is not possible as University itself came into existence in year 1975 . One can't clear master's degree in one year.
Earlier on Sunday, two more persons, who were "working" for absconding former Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Chairman Lalkeshwar Prasad Singh arrested in Patna in connection with state intermediate examination scandal while the ex-BSEB chief's wife has been made a 'non-FIR' accused.
With these arrests, the total number of persons held have gone up to eight including the alleged kingpin of the toppers' scandal, Bachha Rai, who was on Saturday arrested after he surrendered at Bhagwanpur police station in Vaishali district.
