Bihar: Majority exit polls predict close contest; Today's Chanakya shows clean sweep for NDA
Patna, Nov 5: Curtains came down on Thursday on the staggered five-phase assembly elections in Bihar that pitted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's BJP-led combine against the Grand Alliance of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, with more than half of the 1.55 crore electorate turning out to vote in the final round.

As the polling for fifth and final phase ended, the exit poll started pouring in which are predicting a hung assembly in the 243-member assembly in Bihar as there is neck-to-neck fight in between both the major alliances.
Any party or combine would need 122 seats to secure a simple majority in the 243-member assembly.

According to India Today-Cicero exit poll, the BJP-led alliance is winning 120 seats while Nitish Kumar-led Grand Alliance is getting 117 seats.
