Better days for Congress will come: Narayan Rane
Thane, Sep 14 Senior Congress leader and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Narayan Rane today said better days for Congress will come both in the state and across the country.
Rane met Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at the residence of civic chief Sanjeev Jaiswal here when he had come to worship Lord Ganesha.
"We exchanged greeting and there was no political discussion," Rane told reporters on his meeting with Fadnavis.
"Better days for Congress party will come both in the state and across the country," he added.
Rane, who was earlier in the Shiv Sena, demanded that reservation should be given to Maratha community. He said several mega agitations are being organised seeking reservation for the community.
"I am of the opinion that they (the Maratha community) should be given reservation," Rane added.
