Bengaluru: Beware of online prostitution advertisements

Bengaluru, Apr 26: Cashing in on sex addiction, local prostitution racketeers in IT city posting advertisements of deceiving nature to make customers fall into their traps to mint more money.

A thorough examination of a website providing advertisement space to post ads related to quenching sex thirst reveals that for most of the sex selling agencies this is heavenly web space to put up a deceiving sex marketing contents.

A website features slew of ads under the category, 'women seeking men in Bangalore' and 'independent girls seeking men in Bangalore'. A click on a particular advertisement directs customers to contact girls.

A customer who uses this website as a bridge between fantasy and reality says to OneIndia, that he has been deceived at least thrice. "I was hunting for a homely looking independent girl willing to provide all round sexual service in exchange of money." Scrolling through the website, one advertisement seized the attention.

The advt he went through featured a profile of a sex providing independent girl. The advt even posted a photograph of a girl along with her mobile number. "Girl looked homely, a key expectation of mine and I decided to contact her."

The advt title said, "Hi I am Sara independent alone, call me direct to have fun in my flat". A click on this advt leads to next explanation. The explanation said, "I am staying alone in my flat. As I have hardship, I chose this way. I am looking for sexual relationship of no strings attached. Moreover I am looking for a decent and handsome boy."

Hello darling, a sweet voice wafted from the other end as his call was picked up by a girl he contacted. "I started to enquire. Girl in sensuous voice said she is residing alone in an independent house in J P Nagar fourth phase. On enquiring cost, the lady said she charges Rs 3,000 for three hours of all round sexual comforts and Rs 5,000 for full night sexual engagement."

This customer jotted down the address and booked a cab. On being arrived at J P Nagar, the girl over phone changed her line saying wait at a shop (which the lady instructed in J P Nagar third phase), a guy would come to pick up and take the customer to her place. A boy arrived after 15 minutes and took to shady, pale unhygienic place.

"Boy demanded immediate cash of Rs 5000 before showing the girl. I was scared, I gave the money. He then showed three girls which is usual in normal prostitution centers. I chose a girl. The girl demanded Rs 1000 as tips before allowing to realise my fantasy. But as promised by a girl over phone that she would provide all round sexual comfort for three hours, there was nothing as such," he lamented.

He further said, the girl only permitted to have intercourse. "The act lasted for 15 minutes, I was out from the house at the 20th minute losing Rs 6000." The same continued for three times, until he checked out genuine advertisements.

A careful look at the cite reveals that there are as many as 30-40 such advertisements claiming the girl is independent. Interestingly, all advertisements are similar in nature in terms of sentences used to attract customers. All girls this website featured are undergoing hardship and the English used in the post has similar grammatical errors.

Going through an uneasy experience of a customer to whom this news portal spoke to and a few calls to girls featured in the website explain further that same girl speaks for four to five numbers.

For example, if there are 10 advertisements showing 10 numbers of independent sex providers, then same girl speaks for five mobile numbers and for other 5 numbers another girl attends the call. The local racketeers are resorting to this tactic to milk more money as sex urge misleads one into the trap laid by sex traders.
