B'lore boss sets new example! offers Viagara to employee for headache

Bengaluru, Jan 16: A new way of making sexual advances has come to the fore in Bengaluru when a 38-year old man offers Viagara as a medicine to one of his junior when she complained of a severe headache.

A 22-year old woman, employed with a finance and investment firm in Jalahalli has lodged a complaint at the Peenya police station claiming that her boss gave her a viagara tablet when she wanted to buy a medicine for severe headache.

Sexual Harassment

The woman further complained that her boss, Mallappa (38), was making sexual advances toward her since the past 3-4 months. She alleged that he would pull her dupatta and touch her inappropriately when there was no one in the office. She also claimed that he offered to marry her when she lost her father. This, despite the fact that he had a wife in the US.

The woman said,"I was helpless, I had no option and put up with Mallappa's harassment for months. I knew that no one would believe me if I had complained against him since he was the manager. I would be sacked instead."

She said that she refused his advances several times when he made her lucrative offers and sponsorship for studies in exchange for sexual favours.
