Bangalore: Infosys techie booked under Sec 377 after wife films his gay acts

Bangalore, Oct 30: The Bangalore police on Wednesday arrested a software engineer for allegedly cheating on his wife with another man. The 32-year-old techie has been charged with Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code.

Section 377 of IPC criminalises gay sex, prescribing a maximum sentence of life imprisonment for indulging in "carnal intercourse against the order of nature".

The police arrested the man following a complaint by his dentist wife who caught him having sex with another man on a spycam.

According to reports, the accused is a native of Thiruvananthapuram, born and brought up in Abu Dhabi. The couple got married in November last year. The man was recently shifted to Bangalore from Mysore to live with his wife in Malleswaram area of the city.

Soon, his dentist wife started experiencing his weird behaviour. In her complaint, the woman said her husband refused to touch her and started living in different room. She even tried to get him to meet a doctor but failed. The woman said many men also visited their house in her absence.

Following this, the woman started suspection that her husband was suffering from a performance disorder or could be gay. To found out the truth, she installed a hidden camera in their room and spotted her husband indulging in homosexual activities.

She made a CD of the recording and lodged a police complaint in the local police station.
