The Arvind Store, which is a textile manufacturer and the flagship company of the Lalbhai Group, amused people while tweeting from their official Twitter account. The micro-blogging site went abuzz following one tweet from the Gujarat based company which tweeted, "Folks, The Arvind Store & Studio Arvind have nothing to do with Arvind Kejriwal."
The tweet showed how people have lost faith in Kejriwal who hogged limelight when he along with Gandhian crusader Anna Hazare had begun anti-corruption movement in the country.
Later he launched his own political party -- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) which had received unbelievable response from Delhiites in Dec 2013 when assembly election was held in the national capital. Giving a tough competition to BJP and Congress, AAP managed to win 28 seats and later formed the government after taking outside support from Congress.
However, he resigned as Delhi CM within 49 days. He faced tremendous criticism for his decision and he finally was thrashed when he was defeated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Varanasi during Lok Sabha election 2014. Even his party failed to impress the country.
Now, with the tweet from Arvind Ltd, it has been proved how people lost all hope which Kejriwal once had raised among them, especially, in the aam aadmi (common man) of the country.
The tweet from Arvind Ltd and reactions of the tweeples:
