Army busts hideout in Reasi, weapons recovered

Jammu, Oct 9: Army troops busted a hideout in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir and recovered cache of arms and ammunition including two weapon, officials said today.

Based on the specific intelligence inputs about presence of hideout and cache, a joint operation was launched by 59 Rashtriya Rifle troops and police in Garhwas belt of Reasi district last night, an Army officer said.

One AK 56, one magazine AK 56, 388 rounds of AK 56, one country made revolver, two radio sets (Motorola and Kenwood), two pouches (damaged), one shawl and few utensils were recovered, he said.
