Jalandhar, Nov 29: Archana Express running between Jammu and Patna was on Tuesday evacuated at Jalandhar railway station following a bomb scare.
According to reports, the threat call was received at at Ferozepur control room this morning after which announcements were made at Jalandhar station for passengers to de-board.
The passengers in the train, which arrived at Jalandhar station around 9.30 am, did not de-board even after repeated announcements, said reports.
It was only after the arrival of bomb squad and police that passengers took the matter seriously and vacated the train.

The search operation is still said to be underway under the supervision of Jalandhar Police commissioner and other senior officials.
Earlier this month, thorough checks were done in trains bound for Kerala from Chennai Central following a threat call. A caller had reportedly told railway control room that a bomb had been planted on a train bound for Sabarimala from Chennai Central.
