New Delhi, July 29: Dr Abdul Kalam Kalam passed away on July 27th in Shillong while delivering a lecture at IIM. He was put to rest at Paikarumbu burial grounds in Rameswaram with full state and military honour.
He left behind a legacy of followers, teachers and youth who believed in his vision for India. "Make India a strong land", he said to teh youth, but India drew strength from his teachings that showed in the crowd that accompanied him to the final journey.
