Chandigarh, March 30: Days after the Team India's defeat in the semi-final match of ICC World Cup 2015, controversy over Virat Kohli and his actress girlfriend Anushka Sharma continues in the country.
While a group of people continue to blame Anushka Sharma for Virat Kohli's disappointing performance in the tournament, especially in the semi-final against Australia, many others displayed their support to the couple.
While senior cricketers such as Sourav Ganguly and other celebrities openly slammed Anushka-Virat haters, many others chose to remain silent. But Yuvraj Singh finally broke his silence and asked people to show more respect to Virat and Anushka. [Unfair to blame Anushka Sharma for Virat Kohli's poor form: Sourav Ganguly]

Earlier on March 26, Australia defeated Team India to reach final of ICC World Cup 2015. Virat, who against Pakistan hit a century, failed to secure a good score in the remaining tournament.
During the match against the host country, Virat got out to Mitchell Johnson of a short delivery and scored 1. His failure irked people who abused the cricketer and his girlfriend. [Ind vs Aus: This is what happened to Anushka Sharma before & after Virat Kohli's wicket (Pics)]
