Tweet vs Tweet: Now, Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli find solace in Yuvraj Singh's message

Chandigarh, March 30: Days after the Team India's defeat in the semi-final match of ICC World Cup 2015, controversy over Virat Kohli and his actress girlfriend Anushka Sharma continues in the country.

While a group of people continue to blame Anushka Sharma for Virat Kohli's disappointing performance in the tournament, especially in the semi-final against Australia, many others displayed their support to the couple.

While senior cricketers such as Sourav Ganguly and other celebrities openly slammed Anushka-Virat haters, many others chose to remain silent. Writing on micro-blogging site Twitter, Yuvraj on Sunday, March 29 tweeted, "To all our real Indian fans who support us in our wins and loses ! Earlier on March 26, Australia defeated Team India to reach final of ICC World Cup 2015. Virat, who against Pakistan hit a century, failed to secure a good score in the remaining tournament.

People on Twitter, Facebook and other social media sites had blamed Anushka for Virat's poor performance. Many hurled sexist remark at the actress.
