Continuing his statement, Khurshid also said, "Time has come for generational change. There shouldn't be adjustment problems with Rahul. Those who have a problem with him will have to go."
There were reports saying that many leaders within the party have been opposing Rahul Gandhi from become the PM nominee of Congress. On the contrary, many other top leaders, including Jyotiraditya Scindia, Rashid Alvi and Oscar Fernandes, backed Rahul's name for the top job.
