After Kejriwal's win, Anna Hazare set to begin fast from Dec 10
Addressing media persons, Hazare said that the government must bring the Jan Lokpal Bill in the current winter session of the Parliament. Hitting out at the government he said: "I had trusted the government and ended my fast, didn't know it will betray me and the people."
He also pointed out at the inefficiency of the government. "Two years have gone , but the government has done nothing on the Jan Lokpal Bill. It is lying in the Rajya Sabha and the Congress is doing nothing about it ," he said.
Hazare: PM just keeps writing letters promising to pass the Bill
He then sharpened his attack on the PM. "The PM keeps writing letters to me promising to pass the Bill," he said. Hazare said that the Rajya Sabha only needs to debate it but since one year there has been no progress.
He then went on to say that the people had voted the Congress government out in the recent assembly elections because it had failed to pass the bill. "Congress had promised the people a Jan Lokpal Bill, because they opposed it the people voted against them," he said.
Hazare will go on an indefinite fast from December 10 in Ralegaon Siddhi.
