Amit Shah challenges Rahul Gandhi, says Rs 12 lakh crore-worth stashed during UPA rule

Chandigarh, Nov 20: Hitting out at the parties criticising the Centre's demonetisation decision, BJP president Amit Shah here on Sunday said,''Samajwadi Party, Mayawati, Arvind Kejriwal and Mamata Banerjee have all joined forces since Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced demonetization. They are all scared."
While addressing a rally in Chandigarh, Shah took potshots, asking why they were so worried. "Jab se Modiji ne note-bandi kari hai, tab se SP, BSP, Arvind Kejriwal, Mamata Banerjee sab ek ho gaye hain; ye sab dare hue hain," said Shah.
He further said,''Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi had only toured places and asked what has PM done for them?. Hitting out at the Congress, Shah said,''BJP also gave such a Prime Minister to the country who speaks.''
Amit Shah also alleged that the leaders of that party had accumulated Rs 12 lakh crore during the UPA rule. ''Rahul Baba aap jawab do aapne kya kiya UPA1 & UPA2 mei? 10yrs tak ek k baad ek ghaple; Rs 12 lakh crore ka bhrashtachar Cong ne kiya'', said Amit Shah.
