Amar Singh: Kejriwal should start a centre for street theatre

Amar Singh dismisses AAP, Kejriwal
Agra, April 21: Former Samajwadi Party general secretary Amar Singh, who is contesting the Lok Sabha election on RLD ticket, in an interview said that the AAP chief 'should set up a centre for street theatre.'

Singh in an interview to the Hindustan Times (read here) said that Kejriwal must set up a centre for street theatre as his party his party will be very successful there. Dissmissing the AAP, he said that there was a major difference between Delhi and national politics.

Singh: I provided urban connect to Samajwadi Party

Speaking about SP and Mulayam Singh Yadav, Singh said that the election symbol of SP symbolised him and Yadav. "The two wheels symbolised Mulayam Singh Yadav and I. What he lacked, I provided - I had the urban connect, while he had a tremendous rural connect," he said.

He then added that they had drifted apart and could not reconcile now.

Addressing the issue of Bollywood actors campaigning for him, Singh said that actors who were his friends were campaigning for him. "Those who are campaigning for me are my friends. They are coming on their own," he said.
