Allahabad shocker: Boy shoots self after father denied him chatting over Facebook
Allahabad, Mar 27: In a shocking incident, a 14-year-old-boy in Allahabad committed suicide by shooting himself after he was stopped by his father for chatting on social networking site Facebook.
The incident occurred in Parasnagar locality of Naini, Allahabad.

The boy a student of Class 9, was caught chatting on Wednesday night on his mobile phone by his lawyer father, Vidyakant Shukla. After his father threw away his phone, the boy locked himself inside a room and shot himself on Thursday morning.
As per an India Today report, when the boy's family members broke open the door in the morning, the boy was found lying in a pool of blood. He was rushed to a medical facility where the doctors declared him dead.
Police found a .32 bore revolver, which belonged to the boy's father, and an empty cartridge from the room.
