After son fumbled while taking oath, Lalu says Modi should take oath again
Patna, Nov 23: Two days after RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's elder son Tej Pratap Yadav fumbled twice while taking oath, his peeved father took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On Sunday, Nov 22, Lalu took to the micro-blogging site Twitter to remind people that PM Modi had also fumbled while taking oath.
Modi had read 'akshunn' (to uphold) as 'akshann', a meaningless word, during his huge swearing-in ceremony on May 26,2014, that was well-attended by international leaders, including Pakistani PM Nawaz Sharif.
But, he was neither corrected nor asked to repeat, when he made the goof-up.
To substantiate his claims, Lalu even posted a YouTube video. Lalu is a staunch baiter of Modi, who has took potshots at Modi in the past too. [Lalu's Dubsmash video on Narendra Modi]
On Friday, Nov 20, 27-year-old Tej Pratap Yadav had made a gaffe when he pronounced 'apekshit' (required) as 'upekshit' (neglected), and was asked by the governor Ram Nath Kovind to take the entire oath again, leading to an embarrassment. [Lalu's elder son fumbles during oath taking ceremony]
Tej has been given the charge of health ministry while his younger brother 26-year-old Tejashwi Yadav has got the coveted post of Deputy CM along with the PWD portfolio in the newly-formed state cabinet.
