May the best man becomes the prime minister of India: Salman Khan
Salman told the audience that the decision to choose the best man lies with them. "I do not belong to Gujarat. I am from Mumbai and it doesn't matter what I want or don't want. It is you who should decide who is the best man to lead the nation."
"Every constituency has its own nature and it is the people of the constituency who is the best judge of the leader. For me, Baba Siddique and Priya Dutt get the votes," he added. Siddique and Dutt are the Congress MLA and MP from the Bandra West area in Mumbai where Khan resides.
Citing Salman's statements, many started speculating whether the actor joins BJP strengthening the political party ahead of the Lok Sabha election which is expected to be held by May.
Earlier another Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan too made headlines while praising the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led by Arvind Kejriwal.
