Ten people, including four girls, who were working as trainees were arrested for allegedly driving their colleague to suicide. The victim, attempted to commit suicide on Sunday by slashing her wrists and then hanging herself from the ceiling fan, when she was alone.
Her father, Pradeep Rane, who works as a plumber saw her hanging and immediately rushed her to the nearest hospital where she later succumbed to injuries.
The girl had left a note behind in which she had clearly mentioned that she was being harassed by her colleagues, which drove her to take the extreme step. The girl's father handed over the letter to the police.
Pranali, who worked as a trainee for a company, was allegedly harassed and ragged by ten colleagues. She and her colleagues were doing an apprenticeship at the company after the completion of their industrial training.

According to Pranali's father, she was selected by the company to go to Germany for further training and because of this her fellow trainees grew jealous of her and used to harass her.
All the ten accused are between 18 -19 years and have been identified as Bhooshan Paradeshi, Abhijit Bhor, Vishal Korade, Amit Pawar, Swapnil Sonawane, Shweta Shinde, Tejaswini Birari, Shubhada Kajale, Neha Sonawane and Harshal Patil.
The accused will be produced in a local court and are remanded to police custody till September 7.
