Kochi, Oct 7: South Indian actor Mohanlal's official website was hacked on Tuesday morning, allegedly by pro-Kashmir separatists.

The hackers also posted anti-state slogans on the homepage. However, the website was restored shortly.

On Tuesday morning, those who logged into the website found that the site's content was missing. A 'Free Kashmir' slogan, along with a Pakistani flag was seen on the home page, below which the hackers had posted a message: "Our target is your government websites..".

The message said,"We (will) never forget what you did against humanity..In Jammu and Kashmir, millions of people were dead. Indian forces killed Kashmir's families, killed innocent children. But no one cared !".

"Your bank accounts, credit cards, servers are in danger", the hackers warned further.

However, it seems all the hackers wanted was to sent a message across. At the end of the page, a line read, "Dear admins, we just wanted to publish this message. Muslims are not terrorists".

Mohanlal, who is a well-known name across the country, acts predominantly in Malayalam movies. A regular blogger, he had voiced his support for prime minister Narendra Modi in one of the blog posts recently.
