AAP set for its next big move, meets CAG over power tariff

Arvind Kejriwal
New Delhi, Dec 31:In a press meet held today, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that he will be meeting the CAG regarding the audit of three power companies and discuss the radical changes in the power tariff structure.

And then at 5 pm, he is scheduled to conduct a meeting at the Cabinet Secretariat regarding the water tariff.

According to Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi government has studied the CAG report and identified that power tariff can be discounted as promised by the newly appointed Delhi government. And as far as the three power companies are concerned, they have been given time till tomorrow morning to justify why audit should not be conducted on them.

On asking Kejriwal about his health, he said,"I am fine now. I will get well soon, but I do not have the time to fall ill. Not sure how long the government will survive, so it is best to do as much possible within these few days."

Meanwhile, the nation awaits AAP's next big move of discounted power tariff till 5 pm.
