Fresh embarrassment for AAP! Another MLA Akhilesh Tripathi arrested in rioting case
New Delhi, Nov 26: In a second embarrassment of the day for the Arvind Kejriwal-led Government in Delhi, police has arrested party's legislator Akhilesh Tripathi on Thursday.
As per reports, Tripathi was arrested in connection with a 2013 riots case. The arrested AAP legislator has been sent to judicial custody.
Tripathi is an MLA from Delhi's Model Town constituency. It must be noted that Tripathi is the 5th AAP MLA to be arrested by Delhi Police.

He has been sent to 2 days of judicial custody by metropolitan magistrate of Rohini court.
Earlier in the day, the AAP government had to offer an official apology following goof up over its advertisement published in newspapers on the ocassion of first Constitution Day, being celebrated today, Nov 26.
The party's ad had printed the Preamble of the Constitution of India but the words 'secular' and 'socialist' were missing from it. The above mentioned words were not a part of the Preamble when it was first drafted. These two were inserted in the Preamble later on by amending the Constitution.
The party had earlier criticised the BJP-led Government at Centre for printing and publishing the older version of the Preamble and accused the union government of deliberately removing the two words from the Constitution.
