India witnessed a dynasty politics as the Gandhis have ruled the country for ages. Now, AAP has posed as a big threat for the party which has been thrashed completely in the recently concluded election in the national capital. While AAP grabbed 28 seats, Congress managed to win 8 seats only.
AAP will put an end to dynasty politics in India: Kumar Vishwas
Days after the election results, Vishwas on Thursday, Dec 12 stated, "If I or anyone of us decide to fight the Lok Sabha elections, it will be with an aim to finish the dynasty politics.'
Vishwas's statement surfaced when he asked about the latest news of him contesting against Rahul Gandhi in upcoming Lok Sabha election which is expected to be held by May 2014.
Another senior leader of AAP -- Manish Sisodia on Wednesday hinted that Vishwas may be pitted against Congress vice president in the general election.
Meanwhile, motormouth leader of Congress -- Beni Prasad Verma once again created a new controversy while commenting on Vishwas. Calling the young AAP leader a "joker", Prasad said, "What will he fight? There are a lot of jokers who will fight."
