In Gandhinagar, the party has decided to field real estate developer Rituraj Mehta, 47, against Mr Advani. While announcing his candidature, AAP said he has been an active member of numerous social causes.
Two other candidates announced by the party include Rajendrasinh Jhala from Jamnagar seat and Thakorbhai Gamit from Bardoli seat.
Mr Gamit is a retired government officer who floated his own party after losing the 2009 Lok Sabha elections from Bardoli. Mr Jhala served the Indian army between 1971 and 1977. He also served in the Railways between 1988 and 2012.
With this announcement, AAP has declared 19 candidates out of 26 Lok Sabha seats. However, AAP is yet to declare their candidate against BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, who is contesting from the Vadodara seat.
