Kolkata, July 31: Accusing the Centre of pursuing "politics of obstruction" with the AAP government in New Delhi, its leader and spokesperson Ashutosh today said this was because BJP wished to discredit the state government and contain the party within Delhi.
"This politics of obstruction is not helping our country and state. BJP might accuse the Congress of creating obstruction, but it had done the same thing when it was in opposition.
"We are not being allowed to choose our own secretaries. Officials are being transferred without even consulting the Chief Minister who has been elected by the people.
We have our own policies and agenda and whenever we try to implement them our officers have been taken away," Ashutosh said.
Later talking to newsmen, he said AAP has nothing personal against Delhi Lt Governor Najeeb Jung though he was following the instructions of PMO.
"There is nothing personal about relations with Lt Governor. It is a different thing that he is taking orders directly from PMO," Ashutosh said.
