Robert Vadra closed his companies due to 'no business, no profit'?
According to a report published in India Today, the notice issued by Vadra's advocate said, "Please note that the six companies referred to in your article namely Lifeline Agrotech Private Limited, Greenwave Agro Private Limited, Rightline Agriculture Private Limited, Future Infra Agro Private Limited, Best Seasons Agro Private Limited and Primetime Agro Private Limited have been closed or are in the process of closing because these companies have not done any business whatsoever. These are private companies and our Client is well within his right to close these companies lawfully," it said.
"Since none of these six companies ever transacted any business, there is no question of any of these six companies having ever recorded any profit. Since none of these companies have done any business, there is no question of having ever acquired any property in Rajasthan or Haryana," it added.
On Thursday, Nov 6, there were reports that fearing strong action from both the state and the Centre, Vadra is selling lands in Haryana and Rajasthan.
Both the state governments of Haryana and Rajasthan, have claimed that they would probe Vadra's land deal and business in their states.
Sources had said that Vadra began shutting down four of his companies since May 2014, the time when Narendra Modi government came into power at the centre.
Earlier, Robert Vadra landed himself into a major controversy as he pushed away the news agency ANI journalist who asked him questions regarding his land deals in Haryana.
