4.5 magnitude earthquake hits Satara in Maharashtra
An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter Scale hit Satara region in Maharashtra on Saturday.
The epicenter of the earthquake, which took place around 10.22pm, was near Dhakale village in Shahuwadi taluka of Kolhapur.
No damage to property of loss of lives have been reported so far.
Earlier, on June 4, Maharashtra's Konya region witnessed an earthquake measuring 4.8 on the Richter Scale.
On August 16, a mild earthquake measuring 3.1 on the Richter scale occurred in Himachal Pradesh's Chamba.
