Greater Noida, Dec 24: At least two persons were killed and 20 others were injured in multi-vehicle collision after over 28 vehicles crashed on Yamuna Expressway on Wednesday due to dense fog conditions, police said.
Around 28 vehicles collided one after another between Greater Noida and Jewar area on the Yamuna Express Highway leading to a chain reaction crash.
The wreckage was stretched for over a kilometer, police said. The series of collision was triggered after a bus hit a car because of low visibility due to foggy conditions.
Later a PAC truck and around 22 cars rammed into the two vehicles, police said.
While RN Sinha and AK Das died on the spot, 20 others were injured in the accident and have been rushed to hospital. Condition of three persons was stated to be critical, they said.
