Goa Assembly election 2012 - schedule details

Goa Assembly Election
Five states are going to hold its crucial assembly election in the year 2012 and Goa is one among them.

The poll date has been scheduled to be held on Mar 3 while election counting will be done on Mar 4.

The main political parties, which aspire to reign in the state, are -

*Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)
*National Congress Party (NCP)
*Indian National Congress (INC)
*Maharashtrawadi Gomantak (MG)
*Save Goa Front (SGF)
*United Goans Democratic Party (UGDP).

The Congress-NCP alliance managed to bag majority seats to form the government during the last assembly election which was held in 2007 and this time all eyes have been fallen on counting day as that will prove the next state government.
