Telangana tangle: Jagan calls for statewide bandh in AP on Feb 19
According to a news report, Jagan called it a "black day in the history of India", as the long-delayed Telangana bill was passed in Lok Sabha on Tuesday.

Jagan who has been fioghting for united Andhra, told mediapersons, "We have seen with our own eyes how democracy could be killed in broad day light."
"TV channels were shut down, doors were closed, Bill was introduced in the House without any hands going up and down. We were not let inside the House, we could only hear the audio," he added.
He also came down heavily upon Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar's decision to stop the live telecast of proceedings of the House.
While calling the controversial Telangana bill was passed "undemocratically in the House", Jagan said, "The issue was taken against the will of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly."
