Hyderabad, Oct 4: YSR Congress President Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday, Oct 4 announced that he will resume his indefinite fast if central government does not withdraw their decision on Andhra bifurcation. Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde on Thursday made official announcement saying Hyderabad would be the joint capital for both Seemandhara and Telangana. The next elections in the state would be held in Telangana and Andhra respectively.

Shinde's announcement had worked as a fireball followed by resignations from ministers including Chiranjeevi, Pallam Raju and many more. Terming the decision as 'unconstitutional' and 'undemocratic', Congress MP from Seemandhara L Rajgopal said that he will move the Supreme Court and will challenge the decision.

Anti-Telangana protesters resumed their agitation creating ruckus in Hyderabad

Two-day bandh has been observed in Seemandhra. Anti-Telangana protesters resumed their agitation creating ruckus in Hyderabad and other parts of Andhra Pradesh. Jagan, who earlier had held fast-unto-death in jail demanding united Andhra, highlighted the water issue in the state and other problems that the state currently faces and will face if the bifurcation took place.

He asked the ministers, who took the decision, to give a serious thought about their decision. He has urged all the MPs from Seemandhara to resign in protest of the bifurcation. He said today the government has divided Andhra, tomorrow it will be some other state.
