Hyderabad, Feb 6: The management of Hyderabad Public School (HPS), the alma mater of Satya Nadella who was recently appointed as the chief executive officer (CEO) of Microsoft, held a programme on Wednesday to celebrate the occasion.

G Jayanand, principal of the school when Nadella was a student there and his mates at the institute attended the programme. The school management, however, did not invite Nadella's parents, honouring their privacy.

Nadella studied at the HPS in Begumpet area of Hyderabad between 1978 and 1984. He was present at the 25th reunion held in 2009. He is also expected to be present at the 30th reunion of his batch scheduled at the end of this year.
