Asaduddin Owaisi attacks Salman Khan for praising Modi, mocks Ramdev
Owaisi, who along with his brother Akbaruddin are known for fuelling hatred through bitter public speeches, lashed out at the actor for joining Modi at a kite-flying ceremony recently in Ahmedabad. Khan had also described Modi as a "good man" on the occasion.
Owaisi targetted Khan with foul language and called him a "nachne ganewala actor" and asked the audience not to watch his "behudapana". He also mocked the actor saying one doesn't become a Salman just because his name is Salman. "Salman to Rushdie bhi hain" (even Rushdie's name is Salman), he said.

The Muslim leader also lashed out at Modi in bitter words, saying he must be stopped and expressed hope that 25 crore Muslims in India would stop him in the next Lok Sabha elections. He also mocked Modi, saying he often messes up names of past leaders.
Owaisi also criticised Baba Ramdev, saying it is surprising to see the latter to become an income tax expert. "He who breathes with nose closed, is speaking about income tax," owaisi said, adding Ramdev has a degree in Chartered Accountacy but not Yoga.
Owaisi's brother Akbaruddin landed in legal trouble a year ago for making statements fuelling communal sentiments.
