Aarushi Talwar Murder: Rajesh, Nupur might be drugged to sleep in jail

Ghaziabad, Nov 27: Rajesh and Nupur Talwar might be drugged to sleep in Dasna jail in Ghaziabad. Sources informed that the doctor couple, the convicts of Aarushi-Hemraj double murder case, have been facing insomnia issues behind the prison.

Jail superintendent Viresh Raj Sharma was quoted as saying that Aarushi's parents have been facing insomnia issues because of anxiety and they also expressed their desires to meet advocates.

Sharma was also quoted as saying, "If they don't sleep, we will have to give medicines. Doctors will be called if needed."

Nupur, a doctor by profession, earlier had complained of uneasiness, anxiety and also asked the jail authorities to monitor her health issues.

Sharma then had informed, "Doctors in our ladies wing are conducting Nupur Talwar's check-up but the situation is under control. Rajesh Talwar's blood pressure was slightly high but he is fine. Nupur is being treated for anxiety."

Rajesh too were suffering from high blood pressure, though he recovered from his illness, said jail authorities. Both Rajesh and his wife have been awarded life imprisonment in the double murder case.

Rahesh reportedly has been asked to assist Dasna jail's medical staff. Nupur will teach female inmates and their children in the jail.
